Overview
System One is seeking an ADA Web Auditor for a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Produce, edit, and update website content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for a diverse audience.
• Apply ADA and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) principles to content structure, language, and navigation, ensuring digital platforms meet legal and ethical accessibility standards.
• Regularly review web pages and digital assets using both automated and manual tools to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
• Work closely with web developers, UX designers, project managers, and legal teams to integrate accessibility into all phases of the content lifecycle.
• Write effective alternative text for images, provide transcripts and captions for videos and audio, and ensure interactive features (such as forms and buttons) are accessible via screen readers and keyboard navigation.
• Maintain documentation of accessibility checks, remediation efforts, and compliance status for internal and external audits.
• Participate in usability studies with individuals who use assistive technologies, gathering feedback to improve site accessibility and user experience.
• Educate staff and stakeholders on the importance of web accessibility and ADA compliance, offering guidance and training as needed.
• Stay current with changing ADA regulations, accessibility guidelines, and best practices, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects.

**Requirements**

• 4+ years of experience in web accessibility or related field
• Knowledge of ADA and WCAG standards
• Experience creating accessible digital content and performing accessibility audits
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and legal professionals
• Strong written communication skills for producing clear and compliant content
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Web Design, Information Technology, or related field preferred
