Position Overview 

• Provide adapted physical education instruction and support to K–12 students with diverse needs.
• Conduct student assessments and evaluations, develop IEP goals, and adapt instruction to support individual needs and participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable special education and educational requirements.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams across assigned school sites to promote student progress and success.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Valid California Teaching Certification with an Adapted Physical Education (APE) Authorization (Required)
• Experience providing adapted or specialized physical education services to K–12 students preferred
