Overview:
- In-person
- Carlsbad
- M-F 8am-4pm
- $45-$55 per hour
- ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Provide Adapted Physical Education (APE) services to special education students (ranging from mild to severe cases)
- Adherence to each students individualized educational plan (IEP)
- Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
Qualifications:
- Valid California K-12 teaching credential with authorization in Adapted Physical Education (APE) or enrolled in an Adapted Physical Education Credential Program
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with physically disabled students
- Ability to drive to different school sites each day
