Salary Range: Up to $53,196 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary
The Adaptive Test Coordinator oversees, coordinates, and implements policies and procedures concerning the scheduling and implementation of academic tests with accommodations for students with disabilities in the Adaptive Test Center. This role coordinates with limited authority all aspects of academic testing as they relate to accommodating testing for students with disabilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensures that individual accommodations are followed for students with disabilities by overseeing the administration of adaptive exams which may include, but are not limited to, scribing, reading, enlarging, or any other special accommodations that may be required.
- Interacts and communicates with faculty, staff, and students to ensure all aspects of the adaptive exam coordination process are followed.
- Coordinates and schedules testing dates and times for students with disabilities by maintaining a master calendar relating to the scheduling of tests between the individual students, test proctors, and test locations.
- Coordinates the pick up and return of exams to academic departments/professors.
- Maintains the integrity of exams at all times.
- Interviews, hires, and evaluates student staff in the testing setting.
- Supervises and schedules the adaptive testing services of student staff to maintain adequate coverage.
- Conducts supervisory meetings with all student staff.
- Trains student staff on all aspects of the working environment.
- Participates in Student Disability Services staff meetings.
- Prepares data reports for the Executive Director on testing as needed.
- Utilize disability database system to input, manage, and retrieve information related to exam accommodations, including scheduling, tracking requests, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Serves as backup to the Adaptive Resource Manager in the production of accessible print materials.
- Attends meetings and workshops both on and off campus.
- Participates in Divisional training and workshops as needed.
- Consults with other department on test accessibility issues
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- One (1) year of related work experience.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) year of related work experience.
- Experience working with disability services, accessibility programs, or related departments.

- Office Environment. Working conditions may be determined by the situation and may vary from the usual office environment.
Physical Demands

This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
