Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is looking for a moonlighting Addiction Medicine physician to join our elite team!
Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Addictionologist. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery to care for patients who are dealing with alcohol and drug addiction.
Position Highlights:
Henry Ford Brighton Center for Recovery is the only licensed drug treatment center in Michigan with 24-hour nursing staff coverage
Full-time licensed dietitian and nutrition specialist on campus
On-site drug treatment physicians, counselors and therapists
Hospital employed day position, office hours 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and participates in on call schedule on a rotational basis
Responsibilities:
Outpatient visits consists of children's program, outpatient medical/psychiatric follow-up and women's recovery
Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnosis and treatment skills
Recommends, participates in and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients
Provides appropriate documentation related to patient care
Work in collaboration with other members of the health care team to deliver high-quality patient care
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Preferred Credential(s):
Board Certified in specialty
Board Certified in Addiction Medicine
Suboxone Waiver preferred
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
