Family Health Centers, Inc. (FQHC) is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join our growing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Recovery Services Program.
This provider will deliver evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders while providing integrated primary care and behavioral health services to patients throughout our rural South Carolina communities.
What You'll Do
Provide outpatient addiction medicine services
Prescribe and manage buprenorphine and other MAT medications
Treat opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders
Provide primary care services to MAT and behavioral health patients
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and hepatitis C
Collaborate with behavioral health counselors, psychiatric providers, case managers, and community health workers
Participate in a team-based, integrated care model
Qualifications
MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant licensed in South Carolina
Active DEA registration
Experience with MAT or substance use treatment preferred
Experience in primary care, behavioral health, or community health preferred
