The University of New England College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part-time adjunct clinical track positions in Orthodontics at the Assistant Clinical Professor rank. The college is currently seeking applicants to work during the summer, fall, and spring semesters. The DMD program operates year-round, and qualified candidates must have availability to work across all three semesters (June-May).

Located on UNE's Portland Campus for the Health Sciences, UNE CDM is the only dental school in a region where access to quality oral healthcare is a persistent challenge, especially in rural areas. Responsibilities

The Orthodontics faculty member will serve in the Department of Preventative, Pediatric, & Community Dentistry. Core responsibilities will include clinical and simulation instruction in orthodontics during the summer, fall, and spring semesters (year round).

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree, or international equivalent and have successfully completed the NBDE Parts I & II or the INBDE and a regional licensure examination (e.g. ADEX). By the position start date, the candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited graduate program in Orthodontics; must be Board Certified, or eligible for Board Certification, as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics; and must have active Maine Board of Dental Practice licensure (full).
