    Special Instructions to Applicants

    The position requires a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Audiology.

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B).

    Job Summary

    The position exists to fulfill the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) Standard that 50% of graduate level courses should be taught by Ph.D. or Ed.D. qualified candidates.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Delivering instruction for the fall term SHS 710: Rehabilitation for Hearing Impaired Adults class.
    • Developing the curriculum for the class (designing syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments)
    • Assessing student performance.
    • Maintaining student engagement and support.
    • Classroom management.
    • Adhering to administrative and institutional responsibilities and performing other duties as assigned.
