Ivy Tech Bloomington is looking for an individual to join their team as Adjunct Faculty for American Heart Association (AHA) CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) training programs through the Ivy+ Career Link office. This position will provide instruction for non-credit CPR/AHA courses delivered on campus and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on teaching and helping learners build critical emergency response skills.
Working Hours: Class schedules will vary based on program need. Courses will be held on campus, and specific days/times will be determined based on demand and instructor availability.
Compensation: Adjuncts are paid $50 per contact hour (hours with students). Interviews will occur on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
General Purpose and Scope of the Position: Ivy+ Career Link adjuncts are hired each term on an as-needed basis to instruct specific Skills Training programs. Ivy+ Career Link adjuncts are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi and course objectives provided.
This position will oversee classroom instruction for American Heart Association (AHA) CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) training programs delivered through Ivy Tech Community College's Career Link office.
Major Responsibilities:
