Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement and research, as well as service to the college and community. Marian University is an institution that values innovative teaching, advising and mentoring.\n \nTeaching responsibilities include courses each semester, as demand requires. Candidates should exhibit skill and enthusiasm in teaching undergraduates.\n \nAmong the areas we may have openings are Early Childhood, Elementary-Middle, Cross-Categorical Special Education, and Middle-Secondary in the areas of Math, Broad Field Social Studies, and English.\n \nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n Teach courses in the discipline in our undergraduate Courses are delivered in a face-to-face, in-person format on our Fond du lac Campus.\n Timely communication with students\n Timely instruction and assessment of course material\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n Master's Degree in Education with preparation in the area in which you wish to teach; terminal degree in the discipline is preferred.\n At least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience within the area(s) of licensure\n \nPreferred qualifications include:\n\n Experience with in-person Higher-Education teaching.\n Experience in learning management system platforms\n Certification/Licensure in K-12 Education\n* Availability to teach on campus classes weekdays between 8:00 m. and 4:30 p.m.\n \nApplication Requirements: please submit a letter of interest, a curriculum vita, a statement of teaching philosophy, unofficial copies of transcripts, and the names, email address and telephone numbers of three references to muapplicants@marianuniversity.edu.
