Position Information

Position Title Adjunct English Instructor Requisition Number A00034P Job Summary/Basic Function

Part-time adjunct instructor of English. To teach one or two lower division courses per semester as needed. Instructors may be expected to teach any of the following:

English 0900

English 1005

English 1006

English 1007

English 1010

English 2010

English 2015

Or other English classes as needed.

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. On February 28th of each year the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

Must have a MA in English or closely related field.

The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position. None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
