Adjunct Faculty - Anatomy and Physiology Lecture and Labs Institution: Webber International University Location: Babson Park, FL Category: Adjunct Faculty Type: Part-time General Description of Position: The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the College of Healt h Professions and Sciences. Job Description: Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develop discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the University 's mission and strategic plan. Adjunct instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom and lab . In addition, adjunct faculty are respon sible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days and evenings. Work Hours: Work schedule va ries according to teaching assignment, class schedule and the needs of the University and the College. Transcripts: Transcripts for Adjunct positions must either be an official copy or a college -stamped student copy, scanned into an electronic format and a ttached to the application. Transcripts produced through web -based student systems will not be accepted. Applications without attached copies of official transcripts will not be considered.
