This Adjunct faculty member teaches Accounting courses to students pursuing a broad range of Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees.Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes. What you will be doing
Teaches lecture and laboratory sections Evaluates and advises students Participates in departmental and College affairs Develops curricula Recruits students Serves on committees Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed
Masters degree in Accounting; or a Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Accounting; or a Master's degree in Taxation and a valid CPA licenseAll educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institutionMust be able to communicate effectivelyAbility to work a flexible schedule which may include morning, evening and/or weekend assignmentsAbility to work well with students, faculty and staff Preferences
