Position Overview
This Adjunct Faculty member teaches courses in Art Appreciation, Art History and/or studio courses such as Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Computer Art.
What you will be doing
• Teaches lecture and laboratory sections • Evaluates and advises students • Participates in departmental and College affairs • Develops curricula • Recruits students • Serves on committees • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
• Masters in Fine Arts degree (MFA) from a regionally accredited institution; or a Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in one of the following areas: painting, drawing, sculpture, studio arts, photography • Must be willing to work flexible hours and assignments, which may include assignments at outreach centers • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
