Description:

Berea College welcomes applications for a part-time adjunct instructor position. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree in their field, a clear commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and the ability to actively engage undergraduate students in the classroom. Previous college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred. We are seeking an individual with experience working within a community of diverse students and colleagues, who is familiar with evidence-based, student-centered teaching and committed to creating an inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will, through their interview and prior record of teaching, research, and/or service, demonstrate that they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community.
