General Information & Responsibilities

Black Hawk College seeks Adjunct/ Part-time Instructor in Business Department.

Description of Duties

Faculty member is expected to encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi; by developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students educational experience; develops, and executes appropriate methods of evaluating students performance; develops, secures, and maintains the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material.

Education & Experience

Masters degree in Business Administration required. Diversified academic credentials in business administration preferred. Two years of relevant and documented work experience required. Teaching experience in related subjects preferred. Must possess demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction.

Experience within Supply Chain Management desirable.

Pay is commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty (as of Fall 2024)

Less Than a Masters Degree = $693.36 per equated hour

Masters Degree = $808.92 per equated hour

Doctorate = $866.70 per equated hour
