Position Summary:

The Adjunct Faculty Member in the Computer Science Division (CSD) will be responsible for providing high-quality, learner-centered education topics in Computer Science. CSD offers programs at the undergraduate level and contributes courses to several other programs at WOU, including the undergraduate general education core. The Computer Science department focuses on full-stack software development. We seek applicants who are student-centered and experienced in teaching technology related to full-stack development and foundational skills required for a computer science degree. Including, but not limited to Algorithms, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, and Design and Testing at an upper division level (300 and 400). Required Qualifications:

Please ensure your application materials clearly demonstrate how you meet the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree or 5 years industry experience 3-5 years of College-level teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or master's level in computer science courses 3-5 years of Industry experience in software product development or enterprise IT
