The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at Albright College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty/Course Facilitators to teach graduate-level courses in Special Education in a 7.5-week, fully online asynchronous format. Appointments may be made as Adjunct Faculty or Course Facilitators based on course needs and the instructional model. SPS serves adult learners through flexible, career-relevant programs designed to support academic and professional success.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Certification as a Special Education teacher, preferably in Pennsylvania
Master's degree in Education or a closely related field required; earned doctorate preferred
Experience teaching special education in K-12 school settings
Experience teaching in online, accelerated, asynchronous formats preferred
Familiarity with D2L Brightspace is preferred
Comfort using experiential and applied learning strategies within a pre-designed course
Strong communication, feedback, and student engagement skills
