The Department of Experiential Engineering Education (ExEEd) at Rowan University is seeking adjunct faculty with a strong interest and qualified expertise in teaching introductory engineering and engineering design courses. Our anticipated needs in the upcoming semesters are the First-Year and Sophomore Engineering Clinics. These are hands-on, multidisciplinary engineering courses taught in a team-based, project-oriented environment.
ExEEd's strengths include small class sizes, strong student-faculty interactions, and a collaborative and supportive working and learning environment. We seek outstanding candidates with a demonstrated commitment to student learning and well-being. We value candidates who promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Candidates should have earned at least a Master of Science degree in an engineering discipline or closely related field, and prior teaching experience is preferred.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey''''s Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
