The Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences in the College of Humanities and Sciences is comprised of 15 full-time faculty engaged in an array of clinical applied and interdisciplinary endeavors. The undergraduate program, which makes up the 3rd largest undergraduate program at VCU, consists of concentrations in Exercise Science and Health Sciences.

Qualifications -------------

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Earned Masters Degree in Health Science or related field for undergraduate courses
  • Earned Doctoral Degree in Health Science or related field for graduate courses
  • Competence in teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in content areas listed above
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Record of teaching in higher education with positive course evaluations

Salary Range ------------

$1437 per credit hour
