    Adjunct Faculty - EdS in School Psychology Instructor/Internship Supervisor

    The Department of Wellness and Inclusive Services in Education operates within the College of Education and offers programs including the following: Master of Arts in Special Education and Inclusive Practices; Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) Certification; multiple Certificates of Graduate Study (COGS); Bachelor of Arts in Inclusive Education; Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) Endorsement (post-bac and graduate programs); Counseling in Educational Settings; Master of Arts in School Psychology; Educational Specialist in School Psychology; and School Nursing.

    The College of Education is searching for a qualified and experienced school psychologist to supervise field experiences and/or teach professional courses within the EdS in School Psychology program. The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) professional standards including the comprehensive NASP practice model This is a part-time, adjunct position with the possibility of renewal.

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • Graduate of a NASP accredited EdS in School Psychology program
    • Holds an active NJ state and/or national certification as school psychologist
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching graduate level courses in school psychology, including supervising school psychology interns
    • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and service in education in the area of school psychology
    • Demonstrated ability in communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
    • Demonstrated commitment to fostering academic achievement, social and personal responsibility, and social justice
    • Demonstrated commitment to working in an environment devoted to collaboration, collegiality, professional development, diversity, scholarly inquiry, student learning, civic responsibility, and respect for all people
    • Demonstrated commitment to working with P-12 schools
    • A teaching/learning philosophy consistent with the mission of the College of Education

    Preferred

    • PhD/PsyD in School Psychology
    • Work experience as school psychologist in NJ public schools

    Start Date: Sept. 1, 2026 End Date: 6/30/27

    In compliance with The State of New Jersey''''s Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
