Job Description Summary
The College of Arts & Sciences at Shawnee State University seeks qualified individuals beginning Fall and Spring Semesters
to serve as Part-time, Adjunct Faculty in the Department of English & Humanities for traditional classes in the following areas.

(EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE)

Adjunct faculty at SSU are also eligible for tuition waivers (Tuition Waiver for Adjunct Faculty Policy) and enjoy professional development opportunities, office space, and limited mileage reimbursement. They and their family (children 14 years and up) also have free access to the Rhodes Athletic Facility.
Employment with the University is dependent upon BOT budget approval for the current fiscal year. Background check is required prior to hire. Official transcripts are required and must be submitted prior to hire to Professor Ann Linden, Chair of the Department of English and Humanities, 940 2nd Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662.
