The Department of English, Languages and Media Studies (ELMS) at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) seeks Adjunct faculty. Resumes will be reviewed as needed for each semester.

For Fall 2026, the department seeks candidates who can teach on campus in Princess Anne, Maryland. We are specifically seeking instructors for composition, speech, and technical writing courses. Occasionally the department might need instructors who can teach online. Qualified applicants may be asked to teach courses in our Literature, Digital Humanities, or Media Studies programs as needed.
