Adjunct Faculty - Health and Physical Education

Adjunct Faculty Members Wanted

The History and Social Sciences department at Middlesex College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Members to teach the following subjects:

Health Courses (HED/HES)

• Contemporary Health Issues
• Exercise Science
• First Aid, CPR, and Safety Education
• Human Sexuality and Family Life
• Nutrition

Physical Education Courses (PED)

• Golf
• Racquetball
• Step Aerobics
• Swimming
• Tennis

Minimum Qualifications:

• For HED and HES classes, a MA Degree in the subject or a related discipline
• For PED classes, a BA Degree in the subject or a related discipline
• Experience teaching adult learners
• Subject matter expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in a remote environment
• Familiarity with Canvas
• Experience teaching in higher education

Please indicate day, evening, and/or Saturday availability in your application. Note that the rate of pay is determined by the collective bargaining agreement.
