The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences offers college-level courses in the following formats: face-to-face, live online via Zoom, and online via Canvas (PSC’s learning management system). Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, and maintain College and department standards and deadlines. This position reports to Mr. Scott Schackmann, Department Head, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Department Disciplines:
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a master’s degree in one of the fields above or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the specific discipline. A successful criminal background check is required.

.Salary Range: Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level as follows:
Master’s Degree: $35.00
Doctorate: $38.00
