Salary Range: Starting ANNUAL FULL-TIME salary (based on education and experience) will range from $33,500 to $68,500; however, actual salary placement is contingent upon completion of MnSCU's salary placement process and the number of credits assigned per term (YOUR ASSIGNMENT IN THIS POSITION IS LIKELY TO BE FAR LESS THAN FULL TIME.) If you are assigned to teach 4 or fewer credits during the Fall or Spring terms (or 3 or fewer during the Summer term) you will be paid a flat rate of $1,200 per credit. The assignment of the number of credits to be taught is solely at the descretion of the Dean or the Department Chair, according to the needs of the College. An assignment of 5 or more credits in one term does not guarantee that an equal or greater number of credits will be assigned in subsequent terms. Benefits are available for part time faculty who teach 6 credits or more in two consecutive semesters. Such eligibility starts at the beginning of the second semester.
