The School of Arts and Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach General Physics courses to health science majors for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester. All sections are taught as face-to-face in-person courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Successful candidates will have at least one semester of experience teaching at the college level.Delivers engaging didactic instruction in face-to-face in-person classesProvides engaging assignments that demonstrate real-world applications of concepts coveredProvides students with an approved syllabus that includes course objectives and learning outcomes teaching methodology attendance policies in line with those of the School texts and readings assignments and deliverables timelines and evaluation criteriaUses the Universitys learning management system to post syllabus assignments and other materials and to communicate with studentsAdvises and assists students through in-person office hours or scheduled appointments by videoconference phone or email and through other University-approved mechanisms
