Position Details General Statement: Adjunct instructors are hired based on the needs of the institution which are evaluated every semester in each of these areas: General Education, Business, Technology & Transfer Trades, and Health Sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing and teaching subject matter content to traditional and nontraditional students. Assist with syllabus preparation and developing curriculum. Ability to stay current in field. Contribute to an effective work atmosphere by interacting positively and appropriately with students, co-workers, supervisors, and visitors.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills: Masters or Doctorate degrees in industry or related field. Appropriate industry or field certifications if applicable. Related work experience in degree area, industry, or field of expertise. Successful teaching experience face-to-face and/or online. Experience in Higher Education, two-year college, or Community College setting. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
