Sauk Valley Community College (SVCC), a comprehensive community college invites applications from innovative and experienced educators for an Adjunct Psychology faculty opening. The class is a daytime class on the Dixon, IL campus for in-person teaching. At this time it does not offer online teaching opportunities.

Examples of Duties
The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and reports directly to the Academic Dean.
To be mindful of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses.
Deliver engaging and effective classroom, lab, or clinical instruction tailored to the specific discipline.
Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Qualifications
We are seeking dedicated educators committed to student achievement. Successful applicants must be able to teach in-person in Dixon, Illinois.
Education: A Masters degree in Psychology.
Experience: Prior experience teaching in a community college environment is preferred.
Background Check: All applicants will be subject to standard background checks.
