Position Overview
This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Speech/Communications courses. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: • MDC In-Person • MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment) • MDC Online (online delivery) • Blended Classes.
Start date for this Faculty position is scheduled on or before Spring Semester 2026.
What you will be doing
• Teaches lecture and laboratory sections • Evaluates and advises students • Participates in departmental and College affairs • Develops curricula • Recruits students • Serves on committees • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
• Masters Degree in Speech/Communications; or a Masters Degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Speech/Communications • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution • Must possess excellent communication skills • Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
