Position Overview
This Adjunct is responsible for teaching Student Life Skills courses
What you will be doing
- Teaches, lectures sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
- Masters degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling or a related behavioral science; or a Masters degree and 18 graduate hours in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, Guidance and Counseling or a related behavioral science
- All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Must demonstrate ability to work and communicate effectively with students
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
- Must be able to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
