Position Overview
This Faculty member teaches upper-division Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Supervision and Management courses to students pursuing a Bachelor Degree.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.
What you will be doing
- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Develops curricula
- Maintains department standards
- Recruits and participates in retention of students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
- Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) or Doctorate in Management related discipline preferred
- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Masters Degree in Management; or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Management or a Management related discipline
- All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Experience with applied learning methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
