Job Title Adjunct Fall 2026 - Biology Instructor Classification Title Position Type Faculty Department Science, Business, & Computer Technology Work Location Main Campus Duties
Teach one or two college Biology courses in general Biology (majors and non-majors), Microbiology, or Anatomy & Physiology disciplines. Prepare lecture and lesson plans according to departmental syllabus and learning objectives, teach lecture and lab portion of class in-person, grade student work, and observe chemical and other lab safety protocols.
Education/Experience
Master's degree in Biological Sciences or Master's degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Biological Sciences or Biological Sciences subdisciplines.
Specify interest:
General Biology &
Non-majors biology (BIO 101/104)
Qualifications
Experience teaching at the community college or college level preferred (not required).
Position Status Part Time Hours
Various day, afternoon and early evening may be available
Salary/Wage $1,162 per ECH Hourly/Salary Other Benefits
