Job Description: Adjunct, HVACDepartment:Student Learning and Success Pay Classification: PTReports To:Program Coordinator of HVAC FLSA Status: ExemptJob Summary: Responsible for the success of the total teaching/learning process within the assigned classroom, laboratory, shop, or other learning environment.Minimum RequiredEducation: Associate degree and industry certifications preferred.Minimum RequiredExperience: Experience teaching in higher education within the instructional area being taught preferred. Core Duties andRequired Knowledge: Acts as a resource for instructional and curricular issues. Maintains course syllabi. Teaches assigned classes and fulfills all instructor responsibilities. Maintains work area, shops, labs, and/or equipment in safe and sound condition. Submit all paperwork in an appropriate and timely manner. Working knowledge of ACGM, WECM, and GIPWE. Adheres to guidelines and regulations of external agencies and maintains required licenses and certifications. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to operate instructional technology and learning management systems. Working knowledge of Hill College vision, mission, values, and Code of Conduct.
