Students learn foundational concepts of musical elements, sound, and digital music production while creating original compositions. Through listening, analysis, creative projects, and reflection, students examine how musical choices communicate meaning and how music both reflects and influences cultural and social contexts. No prior composition or production experience is required for students who enroll in this course.
