The Department of Athletic Training invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach multiple online sections of ATR 1300 Medical Terminology. This course introduces students to the foundational language of healthcare, including medical word construction, terminology related to body systems, common abbreviations, and effective communication within healthcare environments.
The adjunct instructor will be responsible for online course facilitation, student engagement, assessment of student learning, timely feedback, and maintaining regular communication with students and departmental leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective online teaching practices and supporting student success in preparation for careers in healthcare.
Minimum qualifications include an earned master's degree in athletic training, healthcare, or related discipline. Previous experience using a learning management system are preferred.
