The adjunct faculty member in this position will teach in fall, 2026 at Roosevelt University, Schaumburg. This class will be taught in the afternoon from 2-4:30PM.
The class that will be taught on their campus is Crime in America. This course focuses on crime problems from a historical perspective, with attention given to the social, political and economic factors affecting crime. Students will review crime trends, efforts of crime prevention, and the evolution in the explanations for criminal behavior.
Entry level compensation rate for teaching one 3-credit course as of fall 2026 is $3,982.00. Compensation for courses that carry fewer or more than three credits will be prorated down or up accordingly. Entry into the union for any subsequent semesters of employment thereafter is required.

Working Conditions
Normal climate-controlled office environment is provided. Job is largely sedentary, but there is a need to move about the office and buildings frequently. Occasional bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling is required (typically less than 10 pounds).
