Position Summary ----------------

Under the general direction and supervision of the Director Continuing Education, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for class locations in Lincoln and Beatrice. The training focus is on fundamental driver education utilizing the provided curriculum. Must be committed to public safety. This is a part-time temporary position.

Essential Functions -------------------

  • Teach driver education classes
  • Utilize provided curriculum
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Have a valid operators license in the state of residence for 2 consecutive years

Marginal Functions ------------------

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -----------------------------------------

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Driver Education Equivalency Certification
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid operators license in state of residence for 2 consecutive years

Minimum Qualifications ----------------------

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
