Duties & Responsibilities
The Robertson School of Communication at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) seeks experienced and dynamic adjunct instructors to teach hands-on courses in its Media Production sequence. The successful candidate will bring practical experience in video production, video post-production, visual effects, editing, audio production, scriptwriting, documentary media, entrepreneurship, and emerging media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare course syllabi, assignments, projects, and assessments in alignment with departmental standards. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. Hold virtual or in-person office hours as required. Engage students through active learning strategies and real-world media practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in media trends, tools, and industry best practices.

$1437 per credit hour.
