Transylvania University (www.transy.edu), a top-tier, independent, residential liberal arts college in

Lexington, Kentucky, invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Business

Administration. This position involves teaching in-person classes, beginning August 31, 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

The Business Administration program is an exclusively undergraduate program that emphasizes

innovative, hands-on teaching in small class settings. The successful candidate will have expertise in

finance. Applicants with an interest and experience in corporate finance or investment management

are particularly encouraged to apply. The fall term course schedule (August 31 - December 11) will

include Introduction to Business, Personal Finance, and Financial Management. The spring term

course schedule (January 11 - April 23) will include Financial Management, Financial Planning, and

Investment Analysis. In your cover letter, please indicate which course(s) and term(s) you are

applying to teach.

Qualifications:

A master's degree or MBA in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and/or previous college teaching

experience.
