    Job Description

    The University of Tennessee Southern enthusiastically invites applications for the position of part-time adjunct faculty in the School of Math and Sciences. The position''s principal responsibility is teaching. Further, the position is responsible for demonstrating academic competence in the appropriate subject matter area of Physics.

    1. Graduate courses: Doctoral Degree in the course discipline or closely related area.

    2. Undergraduate courses: Master''s degree in qualifying discipline, or Master''s degree

    with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of qualifying disciplines.

    1. Experience teaching at the university level preferred.

    2. Three letters of recommendation.

    3. Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. A

    complete application consists of a letter addressing the qualifications cited above; curriculum

    vitae; official transcripts; and the names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of

    at least three professional references. Other documentation may be requested.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Teach undergraduate courses related to Physics in the School of Math & Sciences

    2. Must be willing to teach at times and locations that best suits the needs of students and the School of Math & Sciences. Times may include day, evening or online.
