POSITION OVERVIEW

JOB SUMMARY: The college is building a pool of adjuncts for online teaching opportunities in our Masters Programs for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Holds at least the masters degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Masters Degree in Nursing Education, Nursing Leadership or as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
  • Experience supervising students preferred
  • A clear unencumbered Florida Nursing License (compact RN license preferred)
  • If Nurse Practitioner, must have current certification as a nurse practitioner, and licensure as nurse practitioner in the state of Florida

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience teaching MSN students in the online setting
  • If Nurse Practitioner, also required to have current certification and licensure as nurse practitioner in the state of Florida
