Job Summary ------------

Basic Function --------------

The State University of New York Potsdam SUNY Potsdam seeks adjunct instructors to teach online sections of PHTH 230 School Health CA SAVE DASA and PHTH 530 School Health CA SAVE DASA required for our teacher certification programs. Multiple sections of the course are offered during Summer session as well as the Fall and Spring semesters.

Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job ------------------------------------------------

Before teaching for the first time adjunct instructors must successfully complete the campus training for online teaching which covers LMS functionality online pedagogy and accessibility compliance.

Required Qualifications ----------------------

• Candidates must show a minimum of five years of experience with school-aged children relevant to the prevention and intervention of harassment bullying cyberbullying and discrimination in schools
• Candidates must be approved to teach CA SAVE and DASA by New York State

Preferred Qualifications ----------------------

• We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to creating fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom
