Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Care Program
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT):
Three (3) years spent in clinical respiratory care, and
Two (2) years as an appointed faculty member of an accredited respiratory care program or clinical preceptor
Current and active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Must hold a current, unencumbered license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Arkansas State Medical Board.
Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for healthcare Provider Card. ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification or must obtain within three (3) months of employment.
Valid Arkansas Driver’s License, with good driving record
Meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in a health-related field or education.
Minimum of five (5) years recent clinical practice in Acute Care, Long Term Ventilator Care, Level I Trauma as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
