    Applications for Part-time Special Education (SPE) Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed. Please make sure to include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, as well as a copy of graduate transcripts when applying for this position.

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for visa sponsorship. The University will not sponsor applicants for work visas (e.g., H-1B).

    Job Summary

    Special Education Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by both program majors and non-majors. Special Education adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours [2 - 3hour courses] per semester. Typical courses focus on Introduction to Disabilities and/or Special Education, Assessment, Intervention, classroom management, math.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Instruction in traditional and online formats.
    • Assessment of student learning outcomes.
    • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Performance of other duties as assigned.
