Title Adjunct Lecturer: 19th-Century American Transcendentalism School Harvard Divinity School Department/Area Position Description
HDS is seeking to hire two adjunct lecturers to co-teach a full year course (fall and spring semesters, 2026-27) on 19th-century American Transcendentalism and its legacies. Successful applicants should have a completed PhD in a relevant field, ample teaching experience, and a strong publishing record. This course will support the Center for the Study of World Religion's Transcendentalism Initiative: https://cswr.hds.harvard.edu/research-programming/transcendentalism.
