    Job Description

    • Lecture for approximately 15 weeks of the course. The course syllabus and material will be provided by the department head. The course material will include a textbook, pre-recorded lecture videos (to be watched outside of class), in-class activities, and example quizzes, homework, exams, etc.
    • Coordinate discussion section topics and office hours with possible Teaching Assistant (for CE 218 only); grader that will help grading assignments; and any preceptors if the course is taught in an active learning style.
    • Be accessible by students in office hours that may meet on campus or via phone/Zoom during their instructional period. Also, the instructor should be available via email throughout the week.
    • Prepare and deliver all lectures; development of homework and provide homework solutions to the grader; and development and grading of examinations.
    • Enter grades into the UA online system.
