Summary

Regis College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach DH 106 Head/Neck Anatomy & Embryology (Mondays 8-10:50am) during the fall semester. This class will be held in person on the Weston campus. Responsibilities

  • Teach the DH 106 Head/Neck Anatomy & Embryology class in person on the Weston campus.
  • Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching including content preparation, grading, student engagement, academic assessment, responding to student emails, etc.
  • Meet with the Program Director periodically to discuss content, student progress, challenges, etc.
  • Utilize technology necessary for teaching.
  • Communicate effectively with students and other faculty in the program.

Requirements

  • Applicants must possess a minimum of a master's degree in dental hygiene or a related discipline (DMD or DDS).
  • Previous teaching experience preferred.
  • Current continuing education related to the topic and teaching methodology preferred (documented on completed CODA biosketch).
  • Ability to uphold the university's commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Normal classroom teaching environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
  • Ability to stand and/or sit during lecture.
  • May include extended periods of time on a computer.

Compensation: $4,607.61
