Department Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy (UNT-SCP) will contribute to the development of the educational, research, and service programs of the Department. The faculty will report to the Chair of the Department. The faculty of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences will provide expertise toward the basic sciences side of the pharmaceutical sciences such as pharmaceutical discovery, formulation, and delivery.
The Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at the UNT System College of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth. Ranked among the top 50 medical schools for seven consecutive years, UNT Health is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city’s Cultural District with a local economic impact of $500 million annually. Position Overview
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the System College of Pharmacy (SCP) of UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking to hire an Adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences with a background in Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics. The successful applicant will report to the Chair of the Department and will contribute to the development of the educational program of the College of Pharmacy. The successful applicant will provide expertise in teaching the foundational science aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate (certificate, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy) curriculum in Pharmacogenomics and Clinical Pharmacology.
Minimum Qualifications
A PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
