Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business & Technology.

FSW adjunct professors are responsible for providing professional quality work as a teaching faculty member. Work includes:

  • Conducting and teaching courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College
  • Preparing and delivering lectures to students
  • Compiling, administering, and grading examinations
  • Providing academic assistance to students as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Doctoral or Masters degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Civil Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or other related engineering or construction discipline.
  • Doctoral or Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Geographic Systems, Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Planning, or other related engineering or construction discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline.
